It seems that previously we could adjust SL video memory sizes manually. Now it seems to be adjusted after SL uses DirectX 9 to query the video card memory size. Therefore running SL in Linux using winex cant use DirectX 9 and so the video card memory size defaults to 0 and this translates to "radio button" option 0 in the settings.ini which is 16MB. This setting does not respond to manual changes. I made settings.ini unwrittable in hopes of forcing it to use the 256MBs of my video card. Please make this setting manually overwritable, please!
