Hi all,

I've been having problems with SL since Monday - yeah, filed a bug report, got some response from LL, did everything they suggested.

I can log in some of the time, but when I'm in I can only do anything like tp, send messages, chat, move, pay for things, interact with objects for the first 2-3 mins approximately. I've been watching the lag meter, and had the statistics window up . Each time I log in it shows network as green, bandwidth looks OK and pingsim is less than 600. Then after about 3mins, network is red, bandwith slumps to zero and pingsim is some crazy number (usually over 1000). I've switched from wireless to earth bound router (although I had absolutely no problem with the wireless network before), and I have had no internet problems otherwise.
I haven't changed any SL settings or any computer settings prior to this, so I don't understand what the problem is.

Does anyone know what the problem might be and have any suggestions? Pleeeaaaase...?:)

This is really far off. But there is a chance your ISP is throttling your connection. Some isps do this as a countermeasure against file sharing people that hog bandwidth.

Maybe you should call them and ask if they know about it.

Either that or your router is doing something crazy like overheating.
