Lately, when ever I work on something I end up leaving ghosted prims. You can't see these prims and they are unselectable, yet they are there physically (well, in SL terms). I can stand on these prims and cannot walk through them but I can't select them to delete them and SL is counting these prims against my land :-P. I have a ghosted vendor at one store rezzing a chair.

Help! How do I rid myself of these spirit prims haunting my land. GHOSTBUSTERS, HELP!

Me too, in a few plots I have. It's a 'new' bug out there. You need to reboot the sim, it will clear them.

Not a new bug at all!! This has been happening, sometimes more than others, for at least a year now.

A restart of the sim does indeed seem to clear the problem up. If you have a premium account and live on the mainland, you can do a support ticket or live chat and ask LL to restart the sim. Double check Highlight Transparent first to make sure the prim's not just invisible and make sure to mention that when you ask LL for a restart.

If you live on a private island, ask your estate manager for a sim restart.

A friend asked LL for a mainland sim restart this weekend. Once she contacted them, it took about 2 minutes for the first 'region restarting in X minutes' message to show up.

Oh I know, nothing is really new, they just come and go. Speaking of, I hear the head up the butt is making a comeback as well. I wonder if they intentionally decide which bugs surface or if it's random. I have yet to see the 'new Ruth', but I was Ruthed this week, first time in a good year. So retro

I issued a service ticket at SL's support site and LL (Matthew Linden) responded within a day and restarted the sims where I was having problems. This cleared away all or the ghosted prims. :-)

Thank you all for your responses.
