Hey before I go on let me say I love SL. I really do....

But..... Every new update seems to make it worse. The last update fixed my tping problem but now I crash for no reason. I could be standing doing nothing and.... CRASH!

I know some poeple play free accounts but I pay..... would like a viewer that is stable for once.

I just spent over an hour in SL on the new release candidate plus I had another avatar I own on at the same time (on the official SL client........I was trying to make comparisons). I never crashed or even got close to crashing............and I was really trying to do things to make the RCO crash. :)

Not sure why so many people have so many problems..........and seemingly all the time. Sure I occassionally have big problems like most everyone else. But, generallly, I can do most anything I want whenever I want. Lately about the only thing that occurs kind of regularly is failed TP's..........but I dont' crash because the TP failed.........I just have to find another way to get where I want to get. Not a big deal to me.

So.......is it worth my quarterly premium payment? Yeah, I would say so.

Cant say id ever pay for such a place that seems to go against what members want fixed, and keeps on promesing fixes that never comes.

LL seems completly deaf to what its users and content makers want fix on, and shoves it in the huge pile that is Jira.

So no, i wouldnt pay, their service is abysmal and only gives you copy paste replies to work around, jira or knowledge base, wich isnt much of a help at all.

Only tip i would give is if you plan on staying in SL, learn from its crashing what causes it and what you need to do to change to fix.. oh right i mean "by-pass" or "work around" the problem, cause dont expect a fix for it in a long time.

Dear Second Life,

It seems we just can't communicate anymore...I try to open the portals to exchange information, and you shut down....you take my money, and give me nothing in return except an occasional blog post and a reciept here an there. I wish I could quit you...My momma always said I had poor taste in who I spent my time with...made bad choices, let myself be exploited and used, and never took care of myself. I guess if I felt like you made half the effort I did to make this work, we'd at least be close to okay....

I'll keep coming back for the abuse, the crashes, the theft, the long lies....I"m stupid that way...

Your customer,

Dani....

well, i've been on since december only, i've been thinking about doing something serious here, not only playing. i started paying for a year in advance even though i was told not to do it because i was warned it would not be worth the money.

sometimes i have the feeling, i should've listenend to the people who told me not to pay!
i had sent a very simple request to LL wanting to know about the correct land prices. i sent the request on april 4th and i haven't received an answer as of today!

last weekend SL was down for half of the weekend so i wasn't able to build the things i wanted to sell, neither was i able to search for land or build my shop.
yesterday SL was down again and right now i should be wearing clothes different from what i do and my avatar should also have hair, which she doesn't ... so i suppose, we are AGAIN experimenting problems and i fear, it will be ongoing for half of the weekend ¥et another time.

only for the use of SL have i bought a new computer, a mac with great hardware i thought. so far i'm paying off a computer i should've not bought because its not any much better than the computer i had before, only the picture is a bit brighter. but i crashed not as much with my windows computer as i do now with the mac ... :-(( bitter truth, at least for me!

not only do i get problems TP'ing. the SL browser just freezes constantly and when i want to restart SL i can't log in and keep seeing the update message "logins disabled" ...
not really funny ... i really loved SL and i started off having so much fun, but at the moment its been a pain and not funny at all ...

i wish LL would use the money they keep receiving from the ones paying for SL and put it in getting things fixed once and for all.
but it doesn't seem to be worth it for them ...
a very sad and unhappy paying member :-(

Personally I think Sl sould reimburse the paid members a percent due to the days of log in failures and database issues we have to deal with
