Bullets break your legs

When you get hit by a bullet (I suppose any moving physical object, but I'm only sure of my bullets), your legs "break" for a couple of seconds, then restore. I can repro this pretty failthfully; just stand still and let one of my turret bullets (which are nothing special) hit you a few times.

Ive noticed the odd 'breaking of avatar legs' glitch when an attachment, previously llMoveToTarget()'ing, llStopMoveToTarget()'s. The only way I came around to fixing the broken legs was to sit on a prim and stand back up, or relog.

The bugs are probobly related... I've not seen a 'walk_with_no_bones_in_legs" animation mentioned in the script docs :D

Sounds like a feature to me. I've heard that things break in real life when hit by bullets too. :)

On the other hand, even when not hit by a bullet if you stand on a very steep hill or other surface your legs end up going ever-which-way. I think this has been true since the Alpha. I thnk its kinda funny. Maybe if they ever fx this there should be a new option: CrazyLegMode(on/off).
