Rendering Bug

It would apeer that there is a bug in the object culling in the renering engine. I have a large linked object, and when my AV is standing on/near it some of the objects won't render (usually if I back the camera out far enough they will appear). The camera is definitely not inside or even close to these objects. It seems random and I haven't been able to reproduce the problem. It should also be noted that I have a script using llSetPos to move the objects around. But they are deffinitely there, I can walk on them, I just can't see them.

Anybody else have this problem? Anybody have suggestions?

I'm running a Elsa Gladiac Ultra (geForce2)

After playing with it some more I think the bug may be that the rendering engine isn't updating what objects it culls when my objects move. This would be weird and it's just a guess, but it seems to fit with the behavior I'm getting.

It's probably your drivers.

No, doesn't sound like a driver issue. Very probably a culling bug. Thanks for the post; we'll keep an eye out for it.

If you find a way to reliably reproduce it then give us the recipie and we'll tackle this bug.

Will do andrew, next time I'm in-world I'm gonna try and get somebody else to take a look and see if they get the same results.
