Color changes

Just over the weekend here it seems some of the colors have changed. When I look at the object in edit mode it says it is the right color but on my screen it is red. It sis not just my objects but everyone's. When I first put an object down it is fine then it changes. Could I get some help with that. I am running a 3 gig pc with 2 gig of ram 350 gig HD and an ATI X1550 card witht he lastest drivers.

Are the colors changing to a completely different color like maybe red turning to yellow. or yellow turning to blue, or maybe green turning to purple? Or are they changing to different shades of the same color or maybe combinations of colors like maybe red turning to orange or purple?

Seems the same is happening to me. Wherever i go, some prims (often pose balls, but others as well) look transparent red as if i would have hit ctr+alt+T (which i have not!). This only started over the last weekend.

Yes black color is red and so is some of the white objects. For some reason I have alot of red in the SL. SL is the only program this does it on. I am not sure it is only my viewer that it is doing it on. I need to try on my laptop i don't think it is doing it on that one. I f I need to unload SL and put a new one on please let me know how to do that.

I figured out what I had done I had check the beacon and that made certain objects turn color. I want to thank you for your help.
