Does anyone else have this bad luck trying to play the game on a mac? My System: Dual 1,8 Ghz PowerMac G5 512 MB RAM ATI Radeon 9600 pro graphic card Mac OSX 10.3.3 Panther The game crashes after 2 minutes of play minimum and the longest time I ever played with the Mac Game client was about 5 minutes. No problems with the PC version, so It has nothing to do with my internet connection. Not only the game crashes, my whole Mac crashs. I have to restart the Mac, nothing else works.I tried reinstalling, waited for another beta (I have these problems since the first Mac Beta) but the problem is the same. I can't think of a reason why there should be a problem with my Mac, because all other games do work fine. For example: Max Payne, Halo, Jedi Academy, UT 2004, Command & Conquer Generals... (All games that have nothing to do with sport, I dislike sport games, hehe) Maybe there is a problem with a software I have installed, that secondlife doesn't like. I hope someone else has this problem, so we could try to look what the problem causes. I really want to play this game. I bought a new Mac and wanted to throw away the PC, but now I can't throw it away

Thnx, I haven't tried this one, yet. Do you know, why there is a problem? I mean, AGP acceleration is very useful, so It would be better to have it on

I have a dual 2 ghz Powermac G5 with one gig of RAM and a ATI Radeon 9600 pro and have exactly the same problem. Turning off AGP lets me play for a few hours straight crash free. I still get playable framerates, but would like to see it fixed. Lindens, please add this to your to-do list and let us know when to turn it back on.
