Upload crashes!

Right. I already tried like a good couple of times now and it seems it is back again. Crashing the moment I want to upload something from my computer into Second life.

I know where the problem lays. My computer (which is just two weeks old) is not good enough for Second Life! When it is like that, all you have left to do is to buy yourself a nice brand new computer. Well guess what? This computer IS brand new!

First time since I have got it, I decided to continue with my animation making and selling. So I made myself an animation, only 40 frames long and tried to upload it for a test run. Crash one.

Good it can be a glitch so I wait and try it again after five minutes. No go again. Another crashreport. This is going to get fun.

I wait again, one can never know... And try again. Another crash. By this moment I am already heavely in swearing mode. But hey maybe it is just the animation right? So I try with a picture. But nope, again I crash.

After a couple of more attempts I am so angry that I have come to the point that I have just an overly expensive typingmachine for SL, which was my main entertainment on the evenings, is not letting me do what I like to do most.

I do not have money growing on a tree in my backyard. Heck I do not even have a backyard! Is Second Life going to be for the rich and wealthy only now? Has it finally got it so high in the head that a new computer is not new enough any longer if it is not having the highest standards?

Yes I am angry, cause I once liked second life. For nearly three years I really enjoyed it, it has gone through some of my computers even. But currently it is getting more and more like a mudwrestling and irritation is really getting to a degree one could even call it stress!

So... Anyone else having the upload trouble too? Has anyone found another solution that does not requier a brand new high standard gold costing computer? Please let me know.

I wanna sell my houses at slx and need to take pictures of them. But every time I try SL is crashing.

Is there any fix for it?

Looking forward to get my sales but now it's imopossible.

Hey Gradr. Mind going to Help > About Second Life and copy pateing here the part that shows all your computer details?

Also I am curious, do you have an Acer computer?

@Franny: Please start a new thread for your problem.

The rant is not needed here. Post your problem, and your computer specs and thats more than enough for us to get an idea of what you need to do.

Computers (ones from places like best buy, wal mart ,and target) are pretty dated, hence why they are so cheap. Most of those have integrated graphics on board and will not be near enough for Secondlife to run.

Even though your computer is less than two weeks old, it could most definately be using hardware from 1-3 years ago.
