Hi there, im hoping someone might be able to help.
Ive been using SL ok so far... ive been here for over a year now and last night everything was fine when i logged off.. but today it says "SL cannot be accessed from this computer"

Now i have had this once before a month or so ago but that was when there was a grid problem and after a restart of the grid i was able to log in.. but im not sure this time if it is just me as there looks to be people online right now.

Anyone any ideas on what i can do? Ive checked my account and im still "active" so ive not been deactivated or anything and ive not had any emails to tell me theres any issue with my account (i should hope not either as im a model citizen! lol) ive tried clearing cache, clearing my PC with a disk cleanup, restarting the PC and even downloaded the new release client to no avail??

Any ideas on what i can do? Its my RL birthday today and i was hoping to get in to party with some SL pals before the RL thing later! looks like im not going to get that now :(
Thanks in advance :)

Hi all.

Yes i'm having the same problems too, don't know why though. It's been happening on and off about 1 month, it's getting a little annoying and i bet for you all too. Hope we can get online soon.

Though i have too ask is anyone of you using Vista?

I'm on Vista, recently got a new pc. It's only seemed too start after i got Vista.

Partial Outages
Posted by Status Desk on June 2nd, 2008 at 10:56 am PDT

We’re arranging some partial outages on Wednesday and Thursday AM for inventory database rotations. Groups of residents will be affected at different times, from 6.30 to 8.00 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, but affected residents will only be affected for a period of 15 minutes, during which they’ll be unable to log in.

I'm logging in, have a pleasant day:)

As much as you want to pin the blame on Vista, Vista's not the problem. It's a LL issue.

I've had this problem on and off for about 6 months, usually happens about once a month. i have to uninstall and redownload the viewer usually. Oh and reboot my cable modem. Just doing it now.....will see what happens. I recently got a new PC and it happened when I was on XP and Vista
