Drivers are free from your manufacturer's website. However I think you are going to have problems no matter what driver you install on that machine. Onboard graphics chipsets like what you have on your E-Machine don't generally have the power to run a program like Second Life. You need, at least a mid range range graphics chipset..........yours, I'm afraid, is not quite up to that area.
But, if you will list a little more about your computer and it's RAM, CPU, operating system someone might be able to help you more than I can. An entry level computers like the E-Machine are just not capable of running graphics and CPU intensive programs like SL in a satisfactory way........or, in your case, at all. Sorry for the bad news. |

Intel Extreme is on the list of cards that are not compatible with SL.
Drivers are generally free, but if the card is just plain not compatible, that is likely not to matter. If it's a laptop and you can't put a card in, you might be out of luck so far as running SL. I think you might be able to add a command to the shortcut that starts SL and get it to try to run without checking for hardware compatibility. The command to add is -noprobe . If it's a Windows system, you do this as follows: "Create a shortcut to the SecondLife.exe executable. Edit the shortcut properties and add any of the above options in the first editable text field. The arguments go at the end of the line, *after* the closing quotation mark, if any. " There's a wiki page on buying cards at http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Graphics_Cards . _____________________
