Scripts missing from database. Again?

I have had several scripts go "missing from the database" and have lost a lot of work due to this issue.
I was curious if any other scripters have had a similar problem.
Particularly with older scripts that had been merged into other versions.
I keep version backups for various branches I take a script to. Mainly for reference in later projects. But I have now lost about 20% of my work.
For me this has been going on for years by the way.

Thanks.

This happens to me often which is why I save my scripts locally as well. As with any system, that's probably all we can do.

Quite a few old items that I have report this error. It started to happen a few months ago - probably by now I have tried to access all of the old scripts I am ever likely to, so it's hard to say whether it has gotten better or worse or stayed the same. I imagine that if they go missing from the database they are not coming back.
