Lost Inventory

Back when SL was doing maintenance on inventory, I tried to log in and it wouldn't let me. Well, ever since that time, I have not been able to find my Chimera dance ball. I was wearing it at the time.
How does one recover lost inventory? It has been about 2 weeks, (I think) plenty of time to show up.

File a ticket.
also (just i case you haven't done these steps):
Search "Worn" just in case it shows up.
Look in Lost and Found.
Clear cache and relog.
Go to a very quiet sim and do searches until the inventory has loaded.
