ATI/HIS x1650 AGP & SL
Denny Denver Registered User Join date: 22 Feb 2009 Posts: 2	03-12-2009 03:55 Just got a brand new x1650 today, and I'm having the most horrible lag on Second Life. I've tried all of the settings from Low to Ultra with no results. I've already installed the most recent Catalyst version. I've tried changing the bandwidth in SL prefs because I read someplace that might help. Nothing I'm doing is working. Are there any known issues with this card and SL? SL worked a lot better with my onboard Nvidia GEForce 4MX Integrated GPU, so I'm finding it pretty hard to believe that this card is worse than the onboard graphics controller. I think I've got a pretty decent system, but I keep going below 10fps. Can anybody please help. AMD Sempron 1.99GHz 1.50 GB of RAM Windows XP Home SP2
Rickk Turbo Registered User Join date: 8 Jan 2009 Posts: 17	03-12-2009 10:06 I'm not familiar with the ATI x1650 to be honest I thought everything was moving to PCI-E. There are some unofficial ATI drivers such as which may provider better performance.
