My shirts recently started rezzing as completely covering my hands with the base color and they're just T-shirts. Also my pants will have the right texture from the waist to about where boxer shorts end, then there will be a couple different texture-maps where the pants color should be continued. My formal shirts put white gloves on my hands. My T-shirts are un-wearable. I can wear a sleeveless shirt, but I feel un-comfortable wearing one and don't want my avatar to have to.
Anyone know the solution to this? I've tried pointing at myself and clicking CTRL / ALT R and even uninstalled and reinstalled Second Life.
Please help. I want to be able to not look like a noob. I know many of you old-timers are snickering at me when I walk by. I can feel it. =(
Thanks in advance...

This has been popping up on the forums pretty much daily, sounds like you are running an nVidia graphic card with a driver higher than 175.19. From: someone *IF* you have an nVidia graphic card and your driver version is higher than 175.19, then there are 3 possible solutions you can try: 1) Turn off "palletized textures" (Ctrl-Alt-F7), and then rebake (Ctrl-Alt-R). SL won't remember the setting so you will need to do it each login. 2) Install the SL Release Candidate viewer 1.22, in which the problem is supposedly fixed (you can install it in a separate folder so that you can switch back if you don't like it). 3) Uninstall your driver and install 175.19 driver.

Palletized Textures

Thank you Malia,
I will check this option tonight, but the nVidia problem I doubt will be the solution... I've run into that before, having played many online games as well as having beta tested several games with Combat Testing dot com. The tech gurus at Combat Testing helped me get my nVidia card tuned up with the optimum (older version) software and PC tweaks to take best advantage of my dual core 3Ghz processors.
Thanks, and I'll post what (if anything) changing (if necessary) palletized textures does.
Best Regards,
Aimiel (Rio's Brave Prince)
