After installing, the program crashes immediately after pressing the connect button. I've tried removing and reinstalling the program to two different locations (C and D drives) with no effect. I am running Win XP, but have the firewall disabled. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Crashes halfway through the screen that says "connecting to server"
System specs:
Win XP pro
AMD 3000+ XP
1 gig ram
Audigy 2 soundcard
Geforce 4 4600
DSL connection

More interesting info (to me, anyway). I was able to get into the game with a second system:
Win XP Pro
AMD 1900+ XP
Soundblaster Live 5.1
Geforce 4 MX 440
512 megs ram
DSL
However, the sound is badly distorted, most buzzes and other annoying sounds, but it's a start.

Make sure you have the latest video and sound drivers, and not beta drivers.
