Ever since the 1.4 upgrade, I've constantly had the following trouble: I will teleport to another sim, and instead of the sim coming up, all I will see around my avatar is water. Sometimes I don't even see myself. Just the water. And I know of at least one other person dealing with the same trouble. Is 1.4.5 going to address this issue?

You may want to trying taking off attachments before teleporting. But, a less pleasant way would be to bump down your bandwidth slider.
Ya know, if you ptu all your attachments in a folder, you can just drag the folder onto yourself and POOF!

To be blunt, that's a pretty retarded way to have to deal with the problem. It should be a hell of a lot more robust than that if one avatar's set of attachments make it barf up the lock-in. I'd rather not have to remove everything and then stick it back on every time I wanted to t-port.
Again, this started happening far more often when 1.4 was implemented. I rarely had such trouble with 1.3.6.

Alright, because this is "retarded," I propose a solution. How about, before TPing, the server stores all the AV's attachment's UUIDs and they're position, removes them from the AV, them teleports. When the teleport is complete, all attachments are reaplyed. No one would notice, as it would be done very quickly. Te gusta?

That's a much more sensible approach, as it automates the process. Not everyone is going to remember to detach and/or reattach every time. Even if they did, you have to admit it would be an annoyance to have to constantly make the changes manually.
Strange, but I thought that the teleport process already worked in this fashion. How does the present system differ from your proposed solution?

Its an occasional problem, but I just have a couple of attachments. You could try just flying to your destination, might give you a better appreciation for the size of the world. May take a little longer, but you wont have issues teleporting. Im sure it will be addressed in the future, seems to be a widespread problem for some of you.
