If you have your home on a network SL uses ~/Library/ApplicationSupport... for caching. So it uses bandwidth and result in a really slow caching and game almost unplayable. Would be nice an option to have a Local Cache instead (change the location of the cache folder in totally freedom). Itàs ok to leave the remaining stuff where it is.

Tried replacing the cache folder with a symlink or mounting a local filesystem in the place where SL keeps its cache?
