Every time that I take a snapshot and try to save it to my hard drive the whole system crashes. I can take a snapshot and save it to my inventory in world and send via email but not save to the hard drive... Anyone know any fixes? Brand new computer here with a fresh install of the emerald viewer and the reg. SL viewer...

Have you tried the various settings (png, jpeg, bmp + size) to see if it makes a difference to Emerald? There has been a bit of snapshot oddness lately, I hear.

Could also have to do with what you are running in the background, if your saving to desktop it needs to open a windows style save dialog window to select the location, which is what is causing you to crash. Try for laughs running SL in windowed mode, and attempt saving a snapshot to disk... If that works, you may want to attempt to run SL in a compatability mode if your running Vista or 7.

I've been having the same problem since gettng the pc i am using now running Vista home premium also whenever i try to upload anything into SL I am crashing as well never had either problem when using XP
