Hello.
I recently downloaded and installed SecondLife, i finally wanted to test it out. But i can not run it on my main computer, only on my laptop (which sucks).
I can not even start the game, it crashes before it even starts.
My hardware: AMD Phenom X4 9850 CPU Ati Radeon HD 4870 gfx card 4GB Ram Windows XP professional
this should fit the desired requirements or not? only thing i can think of is that second life doesnt support the ATI HD series of gfx cards...
any fixes?

it does, but ATi loves to monkey with their already wonky drivers, and what was a pita ATi fix for programers this month is a bug next month ...
try updating
