Ok, at first I thought this was another lovely 'undocumented change' that the Lindens had thrown in, but now I'm not so sure (since another of my objects just disappeared spontaneously while I was in world). From: someone

Second Life: Your object 'Sorry For The Spam' went off the world at <43.69,24.09,19.39> in Game Dev 3. You can find it in your lost and found folder.

(Much later)
Second Life: Your object 'Fireflies v0.53' went off the world at <222.67,199.11,42.60> in Ritch. You can find it in your lost and found folder.
Right... So the first two I can ALMOST understand because of the (false in 1.3) rumor that objects below a certain height get returned no matter what (the objects in GD3 were there for the entire competition without a problem, 1.4 comes along, and POOF). The third, however... No point to it at all. That's in world. Very in-world. And it happened just a few minutes ago while I was standing in game trying to fix things in GD3. Which tells me that the objects in GD3 might not have coincided with the 1.4 update. So is there a 'off-world' returning bug that's been hitting anyone else, or do the Lindens just not like me?

I got a few of those too tonight. One of the elementals that climbs out of the well in Deus Via (Game Dev 3, last day!) was returned to me... And it doesn't move from that spot! Not the one that hangs on the edge.

Yeah, that's the thing about this. None of the objects that have been returned to me move. 'specially not the Fireflies one, as that one has potentially been there since 1.2.

I had around 2000 objects returned to me. I got over 1000 emails to say so and got my email account locked out for being over capacity. The continuous bombardment of messages rendered me unable to do anything for the first half hour and I had to get someone to help me after about the sixth crash to desktop.
And to boot, my island now says that there are about 1000 more prims used than it did yesterday before 1.4.
Oh, and my ass, waist and arms are different.
And some custom anims I used in preview don't work now.
