login failed....why?

i was on SL and everything was fine but then my screen suddenly froze and I was automatically logged out as SL closed down. After it had finished I opened up SL again but when I click log in I get this message.

Login Failed
The system is logging you out right now.
You're account will not be available until 2008-07-24 11:06:46 Pacific Time

no offense but what the heck is going on?

That reply basically means that due to lag your client is still in world - ie a ghost and if you lag in as an alt you can even shoot yourself :P
umm make that log in lol
