vote stations

I have two difernt buildings in venice bonifacio with two differnt vote stations. One night I get the money from both the next I dont, I havent seen both listed on the vote sation forum but I dont search it carefuly ethier just scroll. I know other people have two buildings in sl on the same sim and get money for both vote stations, is there a reason Im not ? Should I move the vote station to make it more obvious its for the second building and ones for the other? I have them on opposite sides of the buildings. like by buildings are side by side and so the right vote station for the right building is far right and the opposite with the other building.



I dont NEED the money, but it is nice and I figure if its available why not have it out.

I've been curious about this too Jean. My home is two floors... an art gallery upstairs and a bar downstairs. A lot of people drop by just to hang out at the bar and they enter and leave by the back door. My vote booth is out front by the gallery. I've wondered if it's acceptable (and possible) for me to put one outside the back bar door also. Is there a one vote box per sim limit? I've seen complaints about people "vote farming" and wouldn't want to do anything that others feel is unfair or in poor taste. Can anyone elaborate on this?

Chip, I think putting one upstairs as well as one downstairs would be considered vote farming by some. Even though your building contains two completely different places-to-go, they're still the same building on the same plot of land. If I were you, I think I'd probably move and rotate the one voting booth so that it's partially embedded in the 1st floor ceiling / 2nd floor floor, so it's clickable from both the bar and the gallery.

Of course if you want an *official* answer, rather than just my humble opinion, find Haney Linden in world and ask him. If he looks at your place and says "go for it", then you could... and for those who would think of it as vote farming, my thinking is that you can't please all the people all the time. Follow the actual rules first, then add in what your head and heart tell you is right within the scope of the rules.
