I may be a bit of a numb nut, but i was not able to find the email address to send bug reports to... ahh well. here goes. For some odd reason, i was getting some strange textures showing up on things that had wood as their texture. I have a screen shot of what i was seeing. I have the latest drivers from nVidia for my GeForce 4, as well as from Creative for my SB Live. I am also including my log file here for your technical review.

I do not know which objects are incorrectly in your screenshot, but you can delete data/index.db2 and data/data.db2 files in the directory where you installed second life.
If this fixes the problem, our file cache was corrupt.

the day i had this issue going on, i closed SL, rebooted and came back in. The issue went away, and i've not seen it since. If i could better duplicate it, i'd definatly send the card, but i don't want to start a wild goose chase when we have other issues that are a tad bit more pressing...
