Now, with the 'sim lottery' method working, people aren't going to want to get sim4. or sim5. or sim6 ... Maybe they know that say, sim297 is slow ...
One day you may be in a fast sim. It crashes, you may come up on a slow sim.
Guys, this gives people motivation to crash sims until they get a 'good one'.
Bad idea. Best thing to do would be to take the old hardware out of the pool, instead of just stirring it with a big stick.

IMPORTANT: So let me give a bit of advice: DON'T crash sims. They will hunt you down.
was wondering about that. Is it moral to build an automated script to do it for you? The only problem with crashing sims is that if you crash them too many times first) the sim is taken down to be examined by techs next) LL comes and has a chat with resulting in a perm ban. The only saving grace to avoid the next phase is if you do it an empty sim and you send long bug reports detailing exactly how you did it (in a way they don't already know about).

Heh, youre kidding me, they do that these days? Back in 1.1, Christopher crashed the entire northern continent. But it was so empty back then that it didnt hurt anyone.

I'm just saying we're going to see it more often now that hardware seems to be allocated 'first come first serve'.
