Hello. I'm not new to SL, but I have been playing the game on a different computer, and I am currently a bit confused. You see, on the System Requirements page, it says that intel under 900 isn't supported. I have an Intel Celeron M Processor 370, with an Acer Aspire 3610 laptop. (Yes, I know, it's crap). The thing that confuses me is I am able to run Second Life for a certain amount of time, but then it suddenly crashes and shuts down. I'm just curious if my computer can support it... or almost?

By crashing and shutting down do you mean SL crashes then shuts down........taking you back to your desktop? Or that SL crashes so hard that your computer shut down (as in turning itself off.....as if it lost power)? The first instance may be that you have some hardware issue......memory, graphics accellerator, etc. The second instance could very well be a heating problem........not a good thing (much worse than a simple crash of a program.....damage to hardware, operating systems, and all kinds of ugly stuff can, and does, occur).
If you are using a laptop for SL, go out and spend $20 USD and get a cool pad to set the laptop on. Also look for updated drivers.

That's not referring to your Intel CPU, it's referring to people who have Intel video subsystems.

The game shuts down and brings me back to my desktop. I guess that answers my question then. Ah well. Guess I'll just have to wait until I get a better computer to play SL.
