Enhanced Intel® Centrino® processor technology with interrelated Intel® Core™2 Duo mobile processor T5550,

4GB DDR2 memory for multitasking power; 667MHz frontside bus, 2MB L2 cache and 1.83GHz processor speed

NVIDIA GeForce Go 8600M GS with 512MB dedicated graphic memory; up to 2303MB total available graphics memory; S-video output and HDMI interface
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition operating system with Service Pack 1 (SP1)

after rebate $1000.00

Thanks for any and all help.

That computer will work fine with SL. But (there's always a but.........LOL), it's a laptop. Laptops are notorious for heating problems. You are spending $1,000 USD. Spend another $25 and get a "cool pad" to set it on while playing any heavy duty graphics or CPU intensive program............and SL is just about at the top.
