anyone else have this prob?????

sl has logged me out due to viewer detected mangled network data indicative of bad upstream network connection or incomplete install. i have uninstalled & reinstalled & it still won't work. my husband's acct on the same computer works fine & there is no router so we are not on at the same time. i had just finished a tp & was flying to my destination when everything siezed up & locked me out. haven't been able to get back in since. live help doesn't know what to do.

If it works for hubby on the same machine/install, then I would suspect there's something wrong with your cache that is causing your problems.

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\SecondLife\cache and wipe out all the files in there.

I don't seem to have that File structure.. and I seem to have problems also. is it because I have Windows XP?
where is my Cache at?

It's a hidden folder. You have to be able to see those to delete it.

The easiest way to do it is to simply uninstall and reinstall SL again. You won't lose your inventory or appearance settings, you'll just need to download everything that's normally in your cache. (Though these days, it seems as though you have to do that anyway.)

i'm having the same error message....have un/reinstalled 2 times, ran all kinds of system & virus checkers....NOTHING IS WORKING!!!! doesn't anyone know how to fix this???

Do you use wireless internet, a shared network, or have an unusually slow connection? Go find a bandwidth checker online and see what it tells you.

I had this error going to a certain zone. I would enter the zone, get about 100m from where I wanted and boom, the error. Waited about 2 days and now I can go there again with no issues.

So seem like some LL server issues, as I did nothing, but 1-2 days later is worked fine.

I'd be tempted to say, if it's an error you get because your avatar crashed in a certain zone, try to set your login location as "my Home", in the Preferences panel on the launch screen. If you have set a certain location as a Home, that is, else I don't know. It may not work, but it doesn't harm to try, I guess.

it seems that this is an issue with the zone that we are trying to enter. so every time i tried to get back in, i would encounter the same problem. in effect is was stuck in a really bad place!!!! LOL my friend logged in as me from a completely different computer & had no probs getting me in. she tp'd me somewhere else & logged me out. when i got home, i got in no problem. i have set a home spot so this shouldn't happen again.
