Uhhh I must appologise but i think i just killed a server or an area of the badlands, was playing around with making this object and well it started then both me and my friend died. I think anyone within range or on the server basically locks up. So well if there's an admin around or anything prolly delete it and all th spawned object.

I am sorry and hope this gets fixed, to those cought within it's affect, I am sorry and have fun cause basically you get one frame per second.

Bye bye for now,

Yea but it didn't physically kill anyone, it only locked up all their computrs almost completely, i was in the center and got about 1 frame every 2 minutes. Thanks Doug for helping get it fix, i unbroke the script and got it working the way intended without the locking everyone up.

Xyber, could you give a few more details about the "object" you were messing with that caused the sim crash?

I haven't investigated any crashes from last Sunday night, but I did look into the Wednesday night crash of Clyde and found the culprit. I'll be posting more info about it on a few other threads, but I will just say here:

Very small hollow tubes are CPU expensive.
Wheel-joints are CPU expensive.

Mix the two and you have a sim-bomb.

This is a known issue, no need to "beta-test" it any further. We're working on a fix.
