Hello!
I've searched the forums a bit and found out the SL doesn't agree with my ATI Radeon HD 26oo XT. Actually, I proved my suspicions since I already figured something was up when my client would crash after I've been in world for a few seconds. I'm not sure why, because when I first started playing (a week or so ago. I tried before with an old comp along time ago and it couldn't handle it) I could play for hours with no problem.
Anyway, I read somewhere that I can use the old client by attached -old or something to something. I have no clue what that person was talking about. So could someone kindly explain.
EDIT After some more poking around, I found that I out in the target line. Is this correct? I'm thinking not since it still crashes.
"D:\Program Files (x86)\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe" -set SystemLanguage en-us -channel old
Just in case that is not the reason for my crashes, here my my specs (The systensrequirementslab.com said I have more than enough computing power to run SL)
ATI Radeon 2600 HD XT
3G RAM
64bit VIsta
AMD Atholon 64 X2 Duel Core 2.6 Ghz
I'm computer literate and I know what the above is, but not how they work together to make a better/worst gaming experience. So, you will not insult me if you break anything down and easy to understand terms.
Thanks!
