Voice chat problem

is anyone else having the problem where everything's set up right..but you cant hear people talking but they can hear you?

sorry if this has already been posted and resolved.. i couldnt find it tho, if anyone knows how to resolve this though, can you please help me?

im on a windows Vista.. (probably some problem there..) mic's only a year old..everything's hooked up right..i just cant hear people.. i can here ambient stuff in the background.. i can hear everything..except people.

please help

If you have a firewall, did you make sure slvoice was an allowed app? If you have a router, did you forward the required ports?
