Before i buy this laptop....

Hello all,
Im in dire need to replace my 512 mb ram desktop, and found an amazing price on a brand new laptop (650 euros). with the following specs:
Athlon 64 x 2
3gb RAM
GeForce 7000 M (256mb)

Now seeing as i am primarily buying a ew system to have a better SL experience, would you gusy recommend this laptop? Im not too sure on he graphic card, and i did a search onthe forums but wasnt sure , so thought id ask.

For SL i would go class 1 or 2 on this list , 7000m is class 5 rates same as a GeForce Go 6100, i would avoid it.

Seems the made up another word for crap 'M' , even a GO ,card beats it.

Do not get it if so. Thats what mine is and they run extremely hot so much so it melts my system board. 2x in less then a year and yes I use it properly. just letting you know. Good luck

I got a Dell Vostro 1500 a few months ago. It's been running well with SL. A little low on CPU but I got a good video card. It's really well built on the heavy side but I like it. Hard to buy a decent laptop with a good video card with out going to 17". Ever try to pull out your laptop when flying, good luck.
