I've never had this problem till this last update. When I try to move my avatar, he moves in slow motion. I see no packet loss or anything. Sometimes he'll move slow motion for a few seconds then all of a sudden kick into gear and move normal speed.
Sometimes he moves normal speed but his travel speed is in slow motion, so it looks like he's trying to walk on ice and getting no where.
Anyone else having this problem? It's not related to one sim, it's all over the place for me now.
Edit: Forgot to say this, I can turn around in circles at normal speed. Also I've noticed other avatars having the same problem in the area I'm in.
Edit Edit: I just went to a sandbox where no scripts are allowed, and I'm moving around fine. So who knows.

about an hour ago my sim started to drop its fps to an average of 9.
everyone walks in slowmo because of that and physics randomly hiccup, everyone falling through floors for a moment.
the sim runs on havoc4 and has been fine up to now, can anyone confirm this is a general SL issue and not a sim related one?

Didn't see it last night, and I was inworld for hours. You might try clearing your cache, and detaching your AO and other scripted objects. Note: the first post in this thread was made in July of 2006  .

Ive been doing the same thing, sinking slowly into the floor, too , while walking. Also chat lag and wierd enough, the same sentence will be repeated a few mins later. Also takes forever to rezz anything, or load anything, like the whole world is in slow mo!

I can confirm SL is in super slo mode this weekend, next weekend it will be advance one frame per click !
It seems that when one thing gets fixed, five other things are slowed down, when one of those slows down to the point of breaking it is eventually fixed and slows down five more things. I think this is known as "scaling up SL".
