A good friend of mine is having problems changing clothes, when she changes it can take several minutes before she sees the change,or sometimes she wont see the change at all unless she relogs.I see the clothing changes she makes right away, and she sees changes I make right away, which I find very odd.Note that I'm talking about the same clothes here, clothes that I designed.

Not sure of her exact computer specs but I do know she has a Pentium4 2ghz processer and a GeForce video card with 128mb.And is on a good cable connection(has been checked through DSLreports)She has also cleared her cache and reinstalled SL 3 times to date.

Any recommendations as to what to check next would be appreciated.

I think this might have something to do with the recent comments about asset load. It has been advised that people not change their attachments, and to reduce attachments if possible.

Yes Taral,I have seen the thread you refer to,it was my understanding that this was "fixed" monday, yet the problem still persists.Still looking for input on this as I'm out of ideas and she is getting very frustrated.

I've also been having this problem occasionally for a good few weeks now - it seems to come and go, but has just started happening again in the last few days, so I guess that might stack up with varying load on the asset server....

I'm on the Mac client, 1.25Ghz G4 and Radeon 8500 card.

It is frustrating - you are not quite sure what you are actually wearing (or not :D)

Seriously, I don't think the asset server issues has been fixed yet or it doesn't appear to have been. If you will check Philip Linden's blog entry from today he addresses this and other issues that are being addressed very soon.

Thanks Lecktor,I was going off some info I saw in the regular forum, never read Phillips blog, good info there.Good to know this is being worked on,and I'll pass the info along to my friend, maybe she can put up with it better knowing it's not a problem on her end.
