Newbie as of yesterday! My mega computer is having a hissy fit at the repair shop. Can I redownload this game on another computer? I might try rather than waiting for a response here as I don't know how well this forum is monitored or viewed.
I wanna play! Pout!:(

You can install SL on as many computers as you like.

Awesome! Okay! Hope I remember how to do it!
Thanks for a quick response! I just emailed SL, too. I never expected anyone to be actually monitoring the tech forum.
I bow!;)

I just want to say, I was successful! And I am find it so much fun! People are really friendly and not esoteric nor do they make a new person feel awkward. People have given me things and asked me to join their groups! Thanks for the help back!

Isn't it a bit sad that a few big companies (well, one company mostly) have succeeded in conditioning people to question their own common sense?

I remember on occasion people at work would question one another's honesty in installing a copy of Windows without the little green piece of paper containing the unique key. These were of course clueless new employees.

You had to explain to them: We have a 45,000 user license with Microsoft that does not include ANY media. Our (governmental) organization is incapable of setting up authentication servers for all 45,000 users, and the contract prohibits us from using the pre-installed copy of Windows that comes on all of the machines we order. Taxpayers have been screwed, department heads are patting themselves on the back for being shrewd negotiators, and the local MS sales rep is laughing all the way to the bank.

Fortunately the relationship between most software companies and their customers is not nearly so adversarial.
