if I try to start SL a message appears, I should install a newer driver. well, I don't find any ati drivers, so I tried with an omega driver.. (which works fine until now).
but even with the omega driver, the error message still appears.
any idea wich driver I should use (and where I find it..) or some othe idea what to do about this problem?

or does anyone with windows have this problem? The driver I'm using on my Thinkpad when it's in Windows is the 8.520.4.4000 Catalyst driver, as reported by the device manager. In Linux, it's using the 8.10 Catalyst driver. Both were released last month. Given that this is the latest driver, and older versions had similar problems, I'm willing to put money on this being a problem that cannot be solved for Windows. |

i'm gonna try to install it on an other pc... might be the faster way than waiting for a driver
