IP Address tracker? Big Problem

Hello everyone,

I recently found out that a person had a list of every alt I had created. I was also told this was done by some tool ingame that will allow you to see every alt a person has created from a single IP Address. Does anyone know if this is true. I think this may be a pretty crappy tool to be using in SL.

First, file an abuse report in game. IF it violates the Terms of Service (TOS) then maybe the person will be punished.

Second, the IP address was never designed to be a private secret. it is literally your public identity on the internet. That's what it is for. The connection between your alt name and your IP address is likewise very easy to extract.

I realize the IP isnt private info, its just frustrating that someone can do this and there is no info on it on the net or SL page, and the fact that I was told it was a tool that was made is even worse.
