Thanks for anyones help on this - has me stumped.
Computer p4 3.4ghz, 2gb ram. Wired connection to a D Link DI614+, have run SL for awhile with no issues, then all of a sudden - I get incredible network lag, and SL hangs. When it starts happening, I get a message from the bottom right corner "network cable unplugged" - so thinking its a network issue, I exit SL, and suddenly, no problems with the network cable issue. internet etc all works fine.
Thinking its a computer specific issue, I try from my laptop - Compaq AMD via wireless (802.11g). Same hanging issue, when in SL only this time while on the laptop my dekstop ALSO gives me the "cable unplugged" message - and when I exit SL on the laptop it stops both places.
So now I'm thinking its something on the router side, or with my ISP (earthlink)...
any suggestions?
