I have two Second Life viewers that I use:
The ”Normal” - No possibility to get sound - Not a chance - I reboot still same - NO sound.
The Release Candidate - I get sound by clicking to sound / or movie sign
Same computer - same - same of all.. same places
Any clue?

What version numbers are those viewers?
Do you get absolutely no sound, no interface sounds, no wav file sounds, no music stream sounds and or no video sounds?
Is this on the Mac with the screen that goes black?
