IMs via email bug

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but didn't find any more suitable forum.

I like receiving notices and IMs into email when I am not logged into SL, but I have one problem lately. Everytime I log into SL I recive a note into my email about an IM I received ages ago. It gets kind of annoying and I have no idea what to do with it. I tried turning IM via email off and on again but it didn't help.

I think I recieved that IM juuust when I was logging into SL so that might be why it's happening...

Any ideas how I could fix that? Should I try reinstalling SL? This kinda seems like a problem elsewhere than my computer tho...

Do you have a similar delay with ordinary emails? I mean, if a RL friend sends you an email, is it ever delivered late?

I have no problems with normal emails...no delay. No problems with any other IM notices from SL. It is just the thing that every single time I log into SL I get an email about an IM I received ages ago. Every time the same mail about the same IM that is like a month old. And the message doesn't come in SL anymore. I got it once there, as I should.

Just to make sure everyone understand the problem I will try to explain it chronologically lol.

One day I was logging into SL. WHILE I was logging in, I got an IM. I recieved the IM into email and in SL as well. I logged off from SL. The next time I logged in, I received an email about that IM I got last time while I was logging into SL. I tried turning IMs via email off and logged on. I received no email then, so I turned IMs via Email on again. (caus eI want to get them...just not that one mail) When I logged on again, I received that email about the IM again. And everytime I log into SL I get that mail again and again and it is driving me nuts to delete them all the time lol.

hmmm it seems to be okay now, heh

Ugh..it still IShappening, I just turned IMs via Email off accidentally...
