Hi everybody, myself and two other ppl have received 5 pics while we were offline. Now none of us can log on. We seem to get stuck in log-in. My guess is, that the picture files are too large for sl to log us in, as if the cache is clogged or something like that. We already de/reinstalled sl but no joy. Can anybody help???????

I didn't recieve anything but group notices this morning and I have been unable to log in for 2 hours. I've cleared my cache and tried login in with both the release candidate and the normal viewer. I just got a text message from a friend saying that SL shows me as online but she can't IM me. I sent a support ticket in but not sure when that will be answered.

Hi Shinesse, Thanks for your reply and please excuse my ignorance, but how do i open a support ticket?????? Never had a problem like that before and never had the need to do that. I have been looking around the sl website to contact them.

Trust me its really hard to find and this is actually the 1st time I've ever done so. Here is the link and there is a submit ticket button on the right hand side. http://secondlife.com/support/ I just recieved an answer but unfortunalty their fix isn't working so i have to submit more info. This is what they said to try and do, I would still submit a ticket though because the more they get the more they will hopefully work on the problem. From: someone Firstly, please try manually deleting your Second Life cache folder, here's the process: - Make sure Second Life is not running
- Open My Computer and type %temp% in to the address bar and press return
- Delete the contents (note
ome folders may not delete, just delete all that you can)
- Type %appdata% in to the address bar and press return
- Open the Second Life folder and delete the Cache folder
- Run Second Life and try logging in.
If you cannot see the files or folders: 1. Select Tools > Options in Windows Explorer (in Vista, press the Alt key to reveal these menus). 2. Click the View tab. 3. Select Show Hidden Files and Folders. 4. Click OK. *edit* I can't seem to figure out why when I copy and paste it will make one into a list and not the other. Sorry about that.
