I've done just about everything imaginable. I've cleared my cache, restarted, reinstalled (3 times now), and every time I start my system, I double click on the SL icon to start the game up...the little boxed prompt says, "Detecting Hardware", then it says, "Initalizing Texture Cache", then the little box dissapears and nothing. No start up. No game. No nothing. I'm not even seeing a crash log.
What is going on here???

Actually, now, everytime I want to start SL up....I have to reinstall it. Should I just wait for a reply here or contact tech support?

It would be good to provide system specs.
Have you done a complete unintall of S, including manually deleting the settings.xml file?
What version of the SL viewer are you using?
Have you tried alternate versions of the SL viewer?
