Okay, so I just a new computer and I keep getting this message, the game starts up and goes into it, but it's really laggy and the framrate is weird. Apperently.. I have two cards, I don't know i'm just listening to what my mate has to say Apperently I have these two in my computer
ATI Radeon HD 3650
IntelĀ® Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100
but either way my SL is annoyingly laggy on my new Dell studio 17... then my mate said that Linden Labs simply haven't made it so it supports my graphics card
Is this true? Or am I doing something wrong? If it's true though, do anyone know in the future if or when Linden Laps will have SL support with my graphics card?

Can you paste the system information that is shown in Help / About Second Life ? In particular, what does SL show there as being your video card?
What do you mean by the fps is weird?
What do you have your graphics settings at in SL? What is your draw distance.

It's a fact that your computer most likely does have two graphics hardware devices. But only one graphics card........that ATI Raedon HD 3650. The other is an intergrated graphics adapter (know as IGP.......intergrated graphics processor). Most modern computers automatically disable the IGP when a discrete card (your ATI card) is sensed....but some have to be manually disabled in your BIOS setup program (you'll need to refer to your computer manual to learn how to do so......or get someone who would know). I'm not going to even try to explain how to do that here.
I really doubt both adapters are enabled at the same time but I suppose it's possible. What is sounds like is that your drivers need updating........the drivers that come with new computers are seldom recent drivers (often years old). Check ATI's driver download site for the most recent drivers........but I've heard the catalyst 9.12 is borked in the OpenGL area which SL requires. Last I heard that is still the most recent but a new driver could have been released since I heard that......if that's the most recent I would suggest dropping to version 9.10 (that is a driver with proven success in SL). There's also a little thing you need to change in your viewer preferrences call VBO......ATI just does not properly support that feature. To get that changed go to the edit menu at the top of your log in page on the left. Open preferreces, on the graphics tab go to the hardware button and open it. You'll see "enable Vertex Buffer Objects (VBO)........uncheck that.
The error message you get is because the video card you are using is more recent than the last time LL has tested specific cards with SL......you can ignore the message. I think there's a box to tick to "don't show this message again".

okay is this what you wanted? and I'm useing Emerald Viewer btw, would that change it at all?
I mean by the FPS, that my net isn't lagging, it's just SL window itself that's lagging and at the start up screen it states that it doesn't reconize the graphic card. Yet, the ATI card in my computer should be working... and the graphic's is set to low

The HD 3650 is in the Second Life system requirements recommended list for Vista and XP. That's probably referring more to desktops than laptops, though.
Dell Studio 17 apparently can come with just the onboard Intel processor or at can come with a discrete video card.
The Dell product page appears to be either inaccurate or perhaps bordering on the deceptive. It is confusing at best. From what I see, to get the discrete video cards, you have to get the expensive model with an i7 processor. This is just from a quick look or two or three.
If you check your display properties you should be able to tell what you actually have.
The info you posted shows SL as seeing the onboard Intel integrated graphics processor.
If you have only an Intel onboard processor you can't expect very good performance from SL.

According to the specs you posted your intel chipset (the IGP is the card that is enabled or being used. You say you have a discrete card installed.......there should be another place on the back of your computer to connect your monitor to. Use that........it should then enable that card and disable the IGP. But, as it is now you are using the intergrated video..........and that chip barely runs SL if at all.
I'm afraid you'll still need to update your drivers........but try SL first before do. The VBO still will need disabling too.
Oooops.
Just noticed this is a laptop.........I'm not sure how to disable the Intel intergrated graphics and enable the discrete card. Sorry, not a laptop person.

Did you bump it or something? Maybe flipped it over while looking around for something to plug in or press? If so the card may be loose inside the case..........take to back to where you purchased it and have them check that out. If it were a desktop I'd try to help you check it yourself.....that's easy.

From: Ruther Boxen I enabled the VBO though and it works better Then leave it alone...........ATI has been slowly getting with the OpenGL rendering in the last few months. Maybe they have fixed it. Well crap!!! Though we had some good news on ATI vs OpenGL. Wishful thinking I guess.

I had the same problem with a good video card.
It is not on the list that the viewer checks. You can hack your viewer to include it by:
Go to program files.
Find the file for the viewer your are using.
Open the file but don't open any folders.
Look for gpu_table.txt
Edit it and add your graphic card. Just follow the model of how the others are listed.
Give it the value of 3 and you will open with high graphic settings and no message.
