Can't accept objects/actions

I have no problem getting clothes, eyes, skins, and all that...but when I right click and try to touch something, nothing happens. I don't know if there's something wrong with my settings are what. Can someone help me on this?

I'm Yuko's friend and was trying to help her with this earlier. Maybe I can make what's going on clearer.

She's able to receive some objects, she got some freebie clothes just fine. I'm also able to send her things. But there's notecard vendor and object vendor that we tried out that simply won't work for her. It works just fine for me and everyone else who tries. I think she's having this problem other places as well.

She's restarted SL several times, and restarted her computer.
