Packet loss after rolling sim restart , Linden lab does not replace lost items.

Scarlet, I politely request reimbursement for the two items that were deleted, that I can prove from my account history. You are welcome to check my inventory for the instruction cards that came with the initial purchases.

Please see the bill from the recently purchased furniture and replacement of one item today.
The deletion of the items happend due to systems errors on Linden side and not due to any errors on my part.

please see attached the purchase order for the JG wonderlust
and the replacement of the tub today.

I have completed a full search for your missing items and despite my best efforts I have not been able to find them.

If the objects which were rezzed inworld are no-copy items, it seems the objects have been deleted from our database on clearing your land and we have no way to recover them when this happens.

Please urgently advise how they will be recovered or replaced.
They were not lost or destroyed due any of my doing, but by me getting logged out and a system outage occurring.

Thank you for your responses. On checking your account I can see that your inventory is not loading as it should for you. To resolve this for you I have given it a kick, please can you empty your cache from the network tab in your preferences and re-log into a quiet region such as Lime or Pooley and allow your inventory to fully load before teleporting anywhere.

If you are still missing your items please re-open this ticket.

land works and accepts my ave as the owner.

bigger problem, in clearing the land, my
4000 Linden JG wonderlust bed is gone(and not in objects or in lost and found, not in lost and found in an object either)
my 2000 Linden bathtub is in "object" bits, the tub part gone.
and my leather furniture set is also in bits and disassembled into various snippets of nothing

as far as i can tell damage exceeds 10,000 linden easily

Please address this issue and urgently advise me.

29/3/2009 3:39 PM PDT Customer Posted a Comment mieze89_Braveheart Braveheart my 512 in windy gyle 81,123,345 does not recognise me. when I try to clear my items from the land is says nothing is there, however, 109 prim are in use. but there is nothing in the land.
I also can't rezz any of my belongings, such as a simple dress there. But I can in the Blue island sandbox... I also can' t attach any clothes to myself there on the land, eg 1prim glasses.

The loss amount claimed is so high because my inventory is reduced by 2000 items, I don't even know what is missing.
The items I am claiming is the furniture that is gone out of my house.
A tub and a bed, for which I have receipts.

I was told on Saturday to give it time, that is was lag.
to wait for the inventory to load. After 6 hours it still had not loaded.
On Sunday I was on live customer service chat, clearing cache and reloading SL.
Monday I spent hours looking for objects in lost and found and in objects. YES I cleared cache and I also looked in boxed multiple items. Without success.
After 5 days this ticket still has not been resolved.
Anyones help would be greatly appreciated.

I agree. If no backup feature is going to be used in SL, then SL should refund purchases destroyed by its database screwups. Or something. Something is better than nothing. It's not fair (nor wise technically) to not have some type of inventory back up system.
