Well this has been going on now for 5 to 6 days!!!!!

I can log in with no problems, then, nothing at all i have met the system requirements such as:

XP Professional sp3
ATI 9250 Graph card
2.4 ghz processor
764 ram

And nothing at all, it keeps freezing at the same point everytime!

I think I am just going to give up on this as bad form and not install it again

I say bad show people i was enjoying the world too

If anyone can help resolve my issues then i can be contacted via msn

Your system specs are kind of on the low end, but it should be able to run SL. Even so, in that situation I would be *extremely* likely to simply uninstall and never try again, if I'm being honest.

I would suggest clearing your cache, then trying again. if that doesn't help, then uninstall and reinstall SL to see if that helps.

Also, do you have all of your updates from Windows Update? Including the optional ones?

That 9250 card has 128 megs VRAM and with only 768 system RAM you are barely on the edge of being able to play SL.

More system RAM is a good start to help your video card, but you will never have good quality with that system..........sorry.

Have you tried logging in to other regions?

Have you tried taking off all attachments?

Are you using a wireless network at home?

You don’t need to turn off the fire wall just make sure SL is getting through. I suspect this is a network issue. Before you log on go into your Preferences then to Network and set your bandwidth to about 2/3rd’s of your total bandwidth internet connection. If you’re not sure what that is try going to http://www.bandwidthplace.com/
Also make sure you have the newest downloads for your router and modem, you should unplug your modem and router for about 30 seconds once a week to refresh the IP. Plug the router back in first then the modem.
Though your pc is on the lowest end of the acceptable range you should at least be able to get through the log in. IMO
and good luck :)
