Charater glowing white. not the mist but white glow problem.. |

Hey ppl, got question hope to get help with. My friend i know on sl is having a issue after reformating her HD. When they installed sl again and video card software ect ect and now when she logs in her avatar is glowing white, not the mist but it shows the outline of her av but just glowing a bright white all around her. I told her what all i knew to do which was, uninstall sl and reinstall, download updated drivers for her video card ect ect, change the settings and shes done all that and still nothing. So does anyone know what it could be and how to fix it, would really appreciate it so ty in advance

hmm she not loged on atm but ill try to get 1 when she gets back on, i looked all on net and couldnt find similar problem so be interesting to see whats causing it. Her graphics card is not old and worked fine untill she reformated HD and then problem began so kinda weird. Best way i can describe it though is like the outline of the charater is there but there clothes is bright white glow and hair is kinda funky too, its all the charaters she sees but the textures of enviroment is normal. Ill try to get that screen shot though soon as i can so u can see, u have or anyone have any ideas or suggestions though what it could be? Its really ruining her expeirence on there and she a builder and having to deal with this past 2 days :/ well ty again.

In addition to a screenshot of the problem, some system information might help.
Might be more efficient for her to post herself. Eliminate the middleman. _____________________

Does it look anything at all like this?
http://i323.photobucket.com/albums/nn474/PeggyPaperdoll/Glow_001.png If so, it's something she's wearing or has attached to her that has "glow" set on the texture tab. To demonstrate I placed a cube behind my avatar and set glow at .5. That does not seem to be an overly high setting but even on my fairly high performance video card you can see the ballooning effect............some video cards would show a much exaggerated distortion. Without more I thnk we all are just guessing. |

She got it fixed just 20 mins ago right before i loged on, i had to log though so i dont know what problem was but it was a weird issue lol. It was in any clothes she was wearing though btw and i couldnt get that link to work to see if that was same problem but she got it working ^^, ty all though
