whoa, check out what happens when i leave Avatar Vertex Program on with my 800Mhz G4 powerbook... it's system wide, as you can see in the first photo, which is the appearance menu, and then another couple of photos of me and a few people at stage 4. Very weird!!

On 1.2.13. Usually it's that angulish splashitation effect but once I got this effect that was more of a John Carpenter's The Thing effect, with arms and legs strethching up and around making me look like a crab when I walked. It was very cool but it get's old fast.

I know this might be bumping, but it is the most recent topic i found concerning this. I found this too in 1.2.13. Its okay, I guess, But kinda annoying because my avatar takes up the entire screen, making it hard to see. Plus, with everyone else's avatar's doing the same thing, its less than ideal. Did, anyone ever determine how to fix it?

turn off avatar vertex program, and/or AGP graphics acceleration... try that anyway...
