Problems with shoe base

For some unknown reason my shoe bases have suddenly started extending to my waist. If I Edit Appearance the problem momentaril disappears, until I exit Edit Appearance. I'm pretty sure others see me normally, but it is disconcerting. And doesn't seem to go away now matter how much I rebake.

I had trouble yesterday trying to get the top of my dress to disappear. It said that I wasnt wearing it but it was still there until I put another top on. I cleared my cache and changed regions, then it was gone.

If you have more than one pair of the shoes, you might try putting on the base to the other pair if you havent tried that yet.

I have the same problem with some boots from !Wrong and also a jacket I bought seems to make it look like I have on white leggings.

Shoe bases extending to my waist

Hi I have had this problem for the past few days now when most of my shoe or boot bases are extending to my waist and leaving me no option but to wear pants or to make the boot base clear and this then can cause problems with the shoe texture. Anyone have any ideas why yet?

I suspect the shoe bases are sculpties. Which are lightmaps wrapped around a bounding box (prim). As the light map downloads, what you are seeing is a refraction from the light map.

Have you recently updated your graphics card drivers?

This is probably due to a driver bug reported here: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7957

Hi Vixen...........your probably using the new nvidia 178.13 driver..............deinstall this driver and go to earlier nvidia driver version................will cure the problem till LL solve the bug.....................if ever lol :)
