I lockup on a regular basis when near more than a few people. I do a Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up the task manager (takes a while) when the system frees up I am back in world but not able to move. I kill the process and start all over. Any ideas???

Same here...and it's been happening pretty much on a regular basis when I'm in an area with > 10 people. It'll run fine, maybe with a little lag, and then my fps drops to less than 1 and it's virtually impossible to do anything, including chat. The ping rate goes through the roof, but my network indicator drops to nearly zero, which means that very little data is passing into the client. At this point, I have a choice...wait about 5 minutes for it to clear up (if it ever does), or simply log out and back in, which takes 1-2 minutes, but that "resets" everything and I'm back in biz (I had to do that during my open house last night...ugh)

Is this related to the Win XP bug? Or perhaps it's my vid card (Raydeon 9000 pro) I have a P4 2.4 ghtz system w/ 512 mb of ram, so I doubt it's due to lack of resources on my system. I also noticed that I'm having to do this more and more as of late, as if something has gotten increasingly corrupted the more I play.

Let's hope the next version will clear this up...

Its happening to me too. I have P4 2.4 ghtz system w/ 512 mb of ram and NVIDIA GeForce4 video card so I guess that points away from the vid card (?)
